As you can see, I was really on the ladybug kick. I seem to run in phases. What can I say? For whatever reason something grabs me & it takes a while to work it through until I can move on to something else. (Ask Lisa about my orange phase!)
This all started with the intent on doing something with an "inchie." Until I discovered the ladybug wouldn't fit in 1 inch square. I had to make it an inch and a quarter. The ladybug paper is old old old! I got it several years ago because it was such a darling tiny print to use as mini envelopes for some Girl Scout swaps. Anyway... I figured as long as I'm cutting up the sheet of paper I may as well use it up!
I ended up with a 1 x 1 1/2 piece that eventually, oh, I have to admit it, got thrown into the trash bin. Now, part of me is apalled that I didn't save it, and part of me is proud. I admit it, I'm a hoarder! I save nearly everything. If you've seen my craft room, you know it's true. Lots and lots and lots... and LOTS of stuff! But I'm coming to the realization that life is short and... what am I saving all this stuff for anyway? I bought it to USE it! And if I can't come up with an immediate plan for a scrap of 1 x 1 1/2 piece of paper...it's needs to be pitched. Otherwise, there may come a day when I may be found buried under piles of unused Oooo-that's-too-special-to-use-now and saved I-may-use-that-someday pieces of paper!!

I hear ya on the hoarding, I didn't use my Big Shot for several months because I wanted to "save" the cutting mats! How silly is that? LOL
